NEW YORK & DC
You'd rarely think that New York can be seen in one day, but that's exactly what we attempted. It was a never-ending blur of subways, people, Central Park, official NY pizza, and Time Square. My NYC highlights were seeing Piet Mondrian's Broadway Boogie Woogie at MOMA, The Museum of Modern Art, and buying my $3 I Heart NY t-shirt!
DC was equally stimulating. The museums and monuments were breathtaking. Visiting off-season, we felt like we had everything, including President Lincoln, to ourselves. The beauty and grandeur of our nation's capitol is a must have experience. I can't help but recommend New York as well, but take our advice—don't try to see it all in one day.
