    This past summer, Travis Sudweeks of IndieRockReviews.com had me attend the Capitol Hill Block Party to photograph the bands. Giving me two full days of VIP access, I captured the front and backstage.

    The highlight of the weekend was when Sonic Youth took the show. Pike street came alive as people stuck out of nearby balconies like fries from their box. The audience gathered in so tight that when the crowd moved, so did you. It was mesmerizing to see the musicians up close as they fed the crowd.
